Our Immersives provide experiential learning with students having close collaboration with master level faculty as well as peers who are equally passionate about the topic. Immersives generally range from one week to two weeks in length. The students’ immersion in the topic of study over the course of a day is long enough to provide a depth of knowledge and skills building in the targeted areas. We have some exciting offerings this year that range the gamut across three major themes: Art and Design; Theater, Movement and Music; and STEM Leadership & Environmental Conservation.  Look at the description that follows for more information about Seussical, Jr. Immersive programs include opportunities for health and wellness activities where students participate in team-building games and get a sampling of athletics offerings in tennis, fencing, archery, yoga and golf.

This Summer Connections production of Seussical, Jr. provides participants with a firsthand experience of putting on a musical theater performance.  Cast members ages 10-14 will work with experienced musical theater educators and receive coaching in dancing, acting and singing.  The two-week immersive program culminates with a performance of Seussical. Note that all appropriate COVID-19 restrictions and protocols will be put in place to prevent the spread of the virus.

DE360° is excited to present the award winning production of Seussical JR. Horton the Elephant, the Cat in the Hat and all of your favorite Dr. Seuss characters spring to life onstage in Seussical JR, a fantastical extravaganza from Tony-winners, Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty.

Transporting audiences from the Jungle of Nool to the Circus McGurkus, the Cat in the Hat narrates the story of Horton the Elephant, who discovers a speck of dust containing tiny people called the Whos. Seussical JR. provides wonderful creative opportunities for our students to tap into their creative imagination and develop unique storytelling experiences in a fully collaborative environment.

Our award-winning professional staff will guide and inspire our students to be the best they could be and discover the magic of musical theatre.
