In the Exploratorium the Campers have a choice of experiments and a variety of equipment that lets them explore the science around them with hands-on activities using common household materials. This week the campers explored the world of magic when they dissected an owl pellet to find skulls and bones. Some campers used both natural and man-made materials to build architectural model of castles. The campers had fun exploring the materials with their friends and often encouraged each other to try new projects. A few campers even built box fans made out of styrofoam with hidden wires and switches, and others made mini personal fans that switched on and off.
