Welcome to Europe – a continent with unique, historical, and culturally-rich countries!

This week, Adventures students traveled to Europe and became cultural enthusiasts. Campers studied famous European artists and buildings.  This exploration was enhanced on Wednesday when our campers took a trip to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, where they viewed the masterpieces of Monet, Van Gogh, and Picasso, as well as, the Egyptian Temple of Dendur and the European Arms and Armour Collection.

Discoveries students loved exploring Europe and visiting many of its famous landmarks, such as the Eiffel Tower, the London Bridge, and the Leaning Tower of Pisa, just to name a few.  The teachers filled the classroom with exciting activities that encompassed art and architecture, cultural celebrations, foods, songs, language, folk tales, games and crafts.  Our time in Europe was a memorable one.

Get your passports and suitcases ready! We are headed to Africa next week.
