D-E 360° Summer

About Our

Summer Program

D-E 360° Summer is an American Camp Association affiliate that strives to bring everlasting memories to every camper who joins us. Music, theater, cooking, STEM, sports, arts – we offer immersive programs for all interests and ages.

String Society

Cultivate your musicianship skills and connect your passion for performing with a side-by-side experience with sought-after international performing artists. Showcase your musicianship at the Grand Finale Concert for your family and friends.

Farm to Fork

Learn how locally sourced ingredients make recipes that promote environmental, economic, social, and nutritional health. Become an expert on aspects of cooking, food science, and gardening. Work alongside experts in culinary arts, agriculture, livestock, and food science.

Musical Theatre

Ideal for aspiring actors, singers, dancers, and theatre technicians, each year, we provide campers with firsthand experience of putting on a musical theatre performance. This summer, the cast and crew stepped Into the Woods (JR); we are curious about where they will wander next.

STEM Leadership

Venture outside for environmental research studies. STEM Leaders engage in various scientific topics such as ecology, biology, botany, engineering, and chemistry, using nearby waterways as their green laboratory.

Young Visionaires

Explore various artistic mediums, design tools, and thought-provoking subject matter. Meet established guest architects and artists who will show you art-making techniques, design thinking, and the development of creative and innovative ideas.

Written Out Loud

Become an actual published author with Written Out Loud. Written Out Loud brings together small groups of Storytellers (campers) with passionate, qualified Story Directors (instructors) to drive growth in writing skills, creativity, and confidence.

2-4-1 Universal Sports

2-4-1 Universal Sports Programming embodies the 2-4-1 philosophy that “Life’s 2 Short 4 Just 1 Sport”. Our campers have the chance to explore and sample a variety of sports every day! Whether it be team handball, Ultimate Frisbee, volleyball, soccer, or a combination of sports rolled into one, our campers experience an array of activities. But this summer was more than just about sports—it was about making new friends, learning new skills, and discovering the incredible power of play. Our campers left with unforgettable memories and a newfound appreciation for the joy and variety that sports bring to our lives.

Adventures & Discoveries Day Camps

Adventures and Discoveries are our traditional day camps for Preschool to Fifth-Grade campers. Our Discoveries Program fosters independence and creativity for early learners. Children practice life skills like listening, friendship-making, sharing, and helping as they participate in activities such as story time, sensory activities, arts and crafts, music, and movement. Our Adventures Program is for campers going into First Grade through Fifth Grade. Children get a break from their regular school routine and gain new friends, independence, and maturity in a memorable learning experience they will treasure. Every week includes visits to our specialty areas that provide exploration of music, art, STEM, movement, and theater.

Camp Initiatives

As part of our affiliation with the American Camp Association (ACA), we take it upon ourselves to tackle initiatives that promote our mission to empower campers to create quality experiences that build a world of belonging and growth.

Kindness Week

Camp Kindness is an event created by the American Camp Association (ACA) highlighting the practice of intentional kindness that happens every day at American camps! D-E 360° Summer takes it upon ourselves to make this a week-long event, where we ask the kids to incorporate little intentional acts of kindness each day. Watch our campers tell us what kindness means to them and how we celebrated kindness this week!

Fresh Food Frenzy

The Fresh Food Frenzy was brought to us by D-E Student Body Representatives Kyle Lee and Musashi Shabazz in partnership with Table to Table. Table to Table is a community-based food rescue program that collects fresh, nutritious, perishable food and delivers it to organizations serving those in need in New Jersey. We asked our campers and their families to make any donations, and so many graciously helped us. Our community collected over 330 lbs of fresh fruits and vegetables for donation!

This summer I had the pleasure to work as the Camp Director with 2-4-1 Sports and Steve Boyle. I got to work with a wonderful and energetic staff and some awesome PreK-8th grade youth, sharing my passion for sports and social-emotional learning! I love the motto of this nonprofit organization “life’s too short for just one sport.”

– Michelle (2-4-1 Sport Instructor)

My son is loving his summer at Dwight Englewood! He comes home from camp so energized and happy, excited to tell me about his new friends, his fun teachers, and new things he’s learned. He raves about the food and loves water play. He’s been enjoying all of the activities and classes, from stop motion to creating his own comic book. I see him absolutely thriving every day, and as a parent I really couldn’t ask for ANYTHING more – truly brings me to tears knowing he’s so happy.

I truly would recommend this program to any parent.
