What is ACE?
AfterCare & Enrichment (ACE) is an after-school extended day program for Preschool – Grade 5. The program runs daily during the school year from dismissal until 6:15 pm. Students have different Clubhouse Classes, including drama, sports, dance, art, homework help, indoor games, and outdoor play. Upon elective registration, students can join us for Specialty Enrichment Classes such as chess, fencing, Odyssey of the Mind, and Lego robotics courses. Our ACE Team comprises D-E 360° employees, Lower School teachers, outside experts, and a wonderful group of Upper School volunteers who make everyday fun for the children. Note all after-school participants must be registered.

Pick-Up (NEW!)
Pick-Up Location: Lower School Dining Room
Streamlined Pick-Up Times:
K-Grade 5 pick-up times:
4:00-4:15 – After snack and our recreation time
5:00-5:15 – After our first class
6:00-6:15 – After our final class
Preschool pick-up times:
3:30 – After our recreation time
4:15 – After our first class
5:15-6:15 – After our second class
Pick-Up Process: Please stop at the Security Gate and give your SchoolPass PIN to notify an ACE Team Member of your arrival. We will have your child in the Dining Room immediately after their class. (No more waiting outside!) You will go to the desk and sign out with one of our friendly ACE Team Members!
Late Pick-Up Fees: Final pick-up time is 6:15 PM. There is a substantial late fee ($5 per minute) for those parents/guardians arriving late. If a child is repeatedly picked up late, they will no longer be able to participate in the AfterSchool Program.
Why did you change dismissal?
The primary reasons for the changes are:

- To make our classes even better for students!
- Reducing the movement and noise in our classes benefits our students tremendously.
- A universal dismissal time allows ACE staff to remain focused on supervision and instruction in the classroom.
- To serve parents better!
- It’s no fun waiting in the car, hoping that your child is on the way. C’mon down and you’ll be able to pick your child up directly from the Dining Room.
- To check out students in a timely manner! Just check in with our ACE staffer and we’ll sign your child out.

ACE School Calendar
ACE runs for three seasons:
Term 1 – Fall (September – December Break)
Term 2 – Winter (January – March Break)
Term 3 – Spring (April – June Break)
Occasionally, we host Discovery Days, which are off-campus field trips on Professional Development Days. Parents will be notified for registration of Discovery Days, spaces are limited.
Program Costs
Registration fees cover costs of all Clubhouse Classes, snacks, and materials, from the time of dismissal to 6:15 p.m. Families may elect to register for the Term or as a Daily Drop-In. For Specialty Enrichment Classes, it is highly recommended that students be registered by term as there may be limited spaces. Priority for placement in specialty classes will be given to students who are pre-registered for the Term. Specialty classes may not be prorated for the term; rather families will be charged a drop-in rate for each class.
Drop-Ins
Upon classroom dismissal, any students not under the direct supervision of a caretaker or parent, or has pre-registered to attend, must check into Clubhouse. Children are escorted by their classroom teachers to the Lower School Multipurpose room to sign in. Students are brought to Clubhouse when parents are running late or unable to pick up their child directly at dismissal. There is a $75 per day fee for coverage and students can stay until 6:15 pm. There is no prorated fee for this service.

ACE Activities are child-centered programs led by our ACE Instructors and Guests, including theater, science, art, sports, and robotics.
