Upcoming Tournaments

November 6, 2025: D-E Half Day Chess Tournament

Dwight-Englewood School
Coach Mac is hosting a rated chess tournament on November 6 for all students, ranging from K-8th grade. The tournament will be a short and fun tournament with trophies or medals for all players. It will be a great chance to practice for some of the chess tournaments later in the school year and to have some extra fun during Spring Break. More information about it can be found below.

November 23, 2025: NJ State Grade Level Championship

Brookdale Community College – Student Life Center

Don’t miss this one of a kind tournament! Coach Mac is inviting K-12 to join us for the NJ State Grade Level Championships. For this event, a team is considered any two or more players in the same section who attend the same school for their academic education. Students who attend the same extra-curricular chess academy (e.g. ICA, CKQ) are not considered teammates for this event unless they also attend the same academic school.
