Register for the USCF

To register for Chess Tournaments first click here to join the USCF, then click below to register for our tournaments. Chess Tournaments are certified through the United States Chess Federation (USCF).  All students must register with the Hunter Tournament and the USCF to participate in the event and to receive a rating. (There is a fee for the annual USCF membership). You do not need to register again if you have already registered with USCF for the current academic year

Dwight-Englewood School – STEM Center

If you can’t attend Half-Day Chess, join Coach Mac Febraury 1st at Dwight-Englewood School. It’s the one of the many tournaments in a series of tournaments that Grandmaster Mac hosts at D-E. There will be prizes that would be fun for our students to compete for..  

February 22, 2026: NJ State Grade Level Championship

Brookdale Community College – Student Life Center

Don’t miss this one of a kind tournament! It’s the biggest NJ scholastic chess event of the year. There will be over 500 kids playing. It is a great experience for any students interested in chess. Dwight-Englewood will be attending the NJ State Scholastic Championships as a team. To be a part of the team, register using the link below and list Dwight-Englewood as the school. Coach Mac will be offering game analysis and coaching during the event.
